Thanks for the answer, and yes, it was just one player selected. Will try the fix now.

Edit: Works. Thanks ^_^

I know that's not how one's supposed to use a SSD. I just never use the default Downloads folder, except in this occation, so I hadn't changed the path yet. In addition, not everyone knows, that you can change the location, so it's just more wear on the SSDs of casual PC users (or in short, not user-friendly).

So that's the reason why I dislike installers without the option to choose the download location (especially when you already define the install directory).

But thanks for your response.

No, I don't want something unealistic as singing duets online or real time voice and gamedata sync.
But I'd love to be able to invite people to a lobby with chat/voice-chat (maybe realized with a third party application), the lobby owner can then select a song and either start it for all players or,
if that's not possible, give players a time limit (song length + 1 minute) to complete the song.
Scores are then automatically uploaded to the lobby, allowing for comparison.

An even more simplistic version would be a lobby, which tracks your recently submitted scores (only if you are a member or that lobby; information includes difficulty/use of line bonus (maybe)/score/time (UTC) of completion; scores are removed from the lobby after 1hr).
If I'm not mistaken, this should be relatively easy to create. Score uploading is already a feature, and one only needs a chat, maybe an embedded IRC with some bots, to process the data and allow for human input and machine output.

Hey,
I can't sync the scores to the online leaderboard and every song has a highscore of 27 million displayed.

/webs/mlkhs.dll is in it's normal spot, so I'm not sure which plugin I'm missing.

System: Win 10 64-bit
Game Version: 6.0 Final

P.s: I let the installer run while I was sleeping, so I don't know if there were any error messages. But according to the updater I'm OK to go.
P.p.s: On a side note, I dislike that the updater forced over 10gb on my C: drive (which is a 60gb SSD with about 20gb of free space), would be a nice feature, if you could choose a different download folder.

Edit: I have some flickering thingies. But this might be due to some faulty installation:

To provide another non-teammember opinion. (Nobody wants nejento to feel ganged upon.)

I love to play MLK and even before the online scoreboards I had a good glimpse of what a good score is and used it as an incentive. The reason, RD1042 lives near me and he wrecked all scores I ever achieved, no matter who created the file.

I can assure you, nejento, that the scores you see are not a result of forgery or "creator-advantage", but lots of practice. I can't even remember how often we sang "I am Octavia" in the past or played till we lost our voices. I've seen RD1042 perform songs with 8500-9500 points on medium with eyes closed, slightly drunk and half-sleeping. Not because he created the file, but because he knows the songs very well.

And I can confirm this with my own experience, when I first played MLK, I barely scratched 5000 points on any song, if I was lucky I managed to get 6500. Now, lots of hours in the game later, I expect to get 5000 points minimum, if I really try to get them, and usually aim for 8500+ on the songs I like. (And sometimes I even get to beat RD1042, though this is very rare and depends on luck.)

I think, creators should be included in the highscores, but they could be marked to pose as a challenge for others. (Similar to RD1042s idea.)
