Title: Yass is Crashing
Post by: sleumas2000 on September 06, 2014, 11:36:13 PM
GRRR
Yass has decided that it wants to raash every time I open song.
What with the fact that my in-game editor seems to refuse shift up/down, I have to manually edited ntes.
The funny thing is that I had Yass working (albeit a little buggily) yesterday, but today, it just won't open a song, and freezes the moment I do anything that might possibly involve editing or playing a song.
What on earth is wrong?

Update Java? Update YASS?

Just found the problem,
My Horrendously Symlinked Filesystem was confusing YASS.
It turned out I'd left a loop somewhere, which is fine for most things, but YASS didn't like it.

It involved me putting a symlink into the parent folder of Owncloud, which also has a symlink to my 'music' older, which contained the original symlink.

I need to tidy my filesystem!

It works now

Well, that was quite an uncommon issue. :D

My filesystem is quite an Uncommon filesystem.
I have folders that are literally just symlink Drops, I use those for things like Dropbox, Google Drive and the like.
I also have loads of symlinks from when programs insist on storing things in particular places.
Hooray for 6 different Data Partitions!
