Title: Editor crashes
Post by: Iluzon on April 05, 2016, 08:29:53 PM
Hello!
After the excellent panel at BronyFair, I´ve decided to give song creation a go.
Ultrastar Creator works just fine, but when I try to start the editor (Editor -> Import) in Ultrastar itself, it crashes to desktop with the following error message:

I use the latest version of Ultrastar, run Windows 10.

yes, the Import functions of the game (which is there only for importing from .midi files) is currently broken and will most likely stay broken for a few more months.
Please instead copy the txt file (which you created using Ultrastar Creator - https://sourceforge.net/projects/usc/ ) together with the video file and the mp3 audio file into a new folder (rename it to author - songname)  and put it in the songs folder of MyLittleKaraoke. (usually it is in C:\Programs (x86)\MyLittleKaraoke\songs ) then start the game and the new file should appear.
If we have had some more time for preparing the panel, we would have shown you this more clearly. Hopefully on GalaCon we will be able to do so.

best regards,
RainbowDerpy

Ah, yes, now I remember, you did say that. Thanks a lot, the editor works just fine now.
